[E] David Hume, History of England (1793)

Resource added

Full description

A key figure in the Scottish Enlightenment was philosopher and historian David Hume (1711–76), who wrote a number of influential books and essays that cast doubt on traditional tenets of religious faith such as the immortality of the soul, the veracity of miracles, and the existence of God. This cheap pocket edition was intended to reach a wider audience than the original edition.
