Contents: Calendar in French.

Decoration: Calendar in red and black, with blue initials. 29 pictures (described in Sampson catalogue) 14 with continuous borders; 15 on three sides, others in outer margin, of framed flowers-and fruit. Initials; blue of grounds of gold and red; gold on grounds of red and blue patterned in white; capitals of text filled with yellow. Line fillers red and blue, patterned in white with gold.

Binding: Conserved by Ian Maver (2002 citation below) and rebound in tawed pigskin; 18th century gilt tooled, red morocco binding - with Aldenham and Rylands bookplates and inscription - now kept in separate box.
